Nova
Concept
Now a few years ago, I encountered this site : http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/fractals.htm.
Being student at that time, quite familiarized with notions of artificial neural networks, attractors, fractals and programming, I decided to make my own little tool to explore and display such beautiful images.
Implementation was straightforward, but result quite disappointing : often only simple curvy patterns were produced, with no real aesthetic value. However, after some nights of exploration, I finally discovered a strange beautifull shape.
This blog is about this shape., which I called "nova". Well, not really one single shape. Actually an infinite variations of parameters produced so many different yet related patterns, which kept me awaken and amazed during so many nights, that I wanted to share my discovering.
I hope you will find this exploration interesting, or simply pleasing. Let's the journey begin.
